Third-party app developers can incorporate Focus status in their messaging apps if they choose. It allows them to filter notifications based on what they’re currently doing, and helps organise app and widget pages on their iPhone’s home screen. FOCUS MODEįocus Mode is essentially a souped-up version of Apple’s existing Do Not Disturb feature, that allows users to establish specific apps and contacts to ping them at specific times. Users can also choose what time they want to download the new iOS 15 software. Once the update file is downloaded, iPhone users will be asked if they want to install the update at that very moment or later. To do so, they need to go into Settings > General > Software update. If your iPhone does not show a notification of the latest update being ready for download, users can head to the Settings to check for the update. More specifically, the latest version of iOS is compatible with the iPhone SE (Gen 1), iPhone SE (2020), iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max - basically all iPhone’s since the iPhone 6s will support iOS 15. The Apple iOS 15 is compatible to all iPhone beyond with the iPhone 6s.
The new iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 softwares were introduced by Apple during the company Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2021 in June, and the September 20 release date was announced by the company last week, during the company’s “California Streaming" event where it launched the iPhone 13 series. The iOS 15 update for the iPhone 12 Mini, as verified by News18, comes with a size of 3.11GB. iOS 15 started rolling out to users in India at 10:30PM IST. Further, iPad OS 15 will bring home screen widgets to iPads, updates to FaceTime, and more. The new operating system brings new features like Focus Mode, Live Text, SharePlay, and more to users of the iPhone 6s and beyond. Apple has finally started rolling out iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 to iPhone and iPad users.
